My work focuses on identifying bioactive molecules having significant activity from marine origin and studying the diversity of marine actinobacteria. My research contributions are mainly related to marine Streptomyces species, particularly known to produce diverse antibiotics and antiproliferative molecules. We are now working on identifying the lead bioactive molecules that prove to be candidates to target the alarming drug-resistant pathogenic microorganisms.
