Ritam Sarkar has a Ph.D in English Studies from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. His research interests include Comics, Literary City, Spatial Theory, Visual and Popular Culture. He was a recipient of the University Grants Commission Senior Research Fellowship.
