Georgitta Valiyamattam received her PhD from Andhra University as a Fulbright-Nehru doctoral fellow at Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA. She completed her postdoctoral training at the Centre for Neuroscience, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. Her research interests cover the broad areas of human-animal interaction and bonding, vision science and neurodivergence.
