Bodasingi Umaprasada Rao hails from Vijayanagaram, Andhra Pradesh. He earned his Ph.D. from Andhra University in 2011 and cleared the AP SET in 2012. Specializing in cryptography, he has 16 publications in both national and international journals. He has presented at numerous conferences and is a life member of the Cryptography Research Society of India and the Indian Mathematical Society. His work focuses on developing cryptographic schemes, particularly in encryption, digital signatures.
