Srijani Mondal is from West Bengal. She has a PhD in LINGUISTICS from Jawaharlal Nehru University [JNU]; New Delhi. She has qualified UGC-NET-JRF in Linguistics. Her research interests are DESCRIPTIVE GRAMMAR; THEORITICAL LINGUISTICS; SOCIOLINGUISTICS; PHONETICS; PHONOLOGY; MORPHOLOGY and CULINARY LINGUISTICS. She is also a recipient of the prestigious award 'RAJIV GANDHI NATIONAL FELLOWSHIP for PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES'.
