Dr. Ramya Sree is from Tanuku, West Godavari Dt., Andhra Pradesh. She had an M.Tech degree from NIT Rourkela and a PhD degree from NIT Warangal. She had qualified GATE twice, in 2008(AIR- 998) and in 2013(AIR - 1067). She also received an Institute Gold Medal for topping in B.Tech degree. Her research interest lies in Functional Metagenomics, Protein production and purification, Bioremediation and bioconversion of toxic pollutants.
