Dr. Praskanva Sinharay is a political scientist interested in electoral politics, caste studies, Partition studies, and public policy. He has a PhD from Centre for Studies in Social Sciences Calcutta (CSSSC), Jadavpur University. He was awarded the ICSSR fellowship at CSSSC and the DAAD fellowship at the Centre for Modern Indian Studies, Georg-August- Universität, Göttingen, for his doctoral research. Prior to joining GITAM, he worked in the academic, government and non-governmental sectors.
