After receiving my Doctorate from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, I underwent Postdoctoral training at the Pennsylvania State University, USA. I have published my research in high-impact journals such as Nature Communications (IF: 14.7), US Patent, and secured research grants. Studies from my research group have contributed to developing better packaging to increase the shelf-life of food and another on using enzymes in waste valorisation to produce bioethanol and biorefinery.
