Dr. Uma Sushmita Perepa has a Ph.D in Journalism and Mass Communication from Andhra University. Her thesis is focused on the impact of spiritual media on emotional intelligence and voice fluency in adolescents. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Media Studies at Gitam University, Hyderabad, India. Notably, she has to her credit, a gold medal in Masters from Andhra University and top grades in her bachelors and diplomas.
