Nilam Kakati is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History. She has a PhD in History form the University of Hyderabad. She has also completed her M. Phil and M.A. in History from University of Hyderabad. She was awarded ICHR JRF Fellowship and National Fellowship under UGC. She has published in National and International Journals. Her areas of Research are Medieval Indian History and Religious History.
