Dr. Murshida is from Kolkata. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Calcutta as a doctoral fellow of I.S.I. Kolkata. Her research interests include Metacognition, Scale Development and Psychometrics. She has received the Professor Anima Sen Award (2024) for best research paper and best research paper award at the 8th International Conference on School Psychology. ICSSR also awarded her an International Travel grant for attending the 2019 APA convention held in Chicago.
