Dr. K. Lubza Nihar, an Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance at GITAM, has over 25 years of teaching, research, and training experience. She has published in Scopus and ABDC-ranked journals. Her research interests include earnings management, Islamic finance, corporate governance and sustainable finance. She won the Best Reviewer Award from the Academy of Management, USA, in 2020. One of her doctoral students received the Best Thesis Award from NSE-Indian Economic Association in 2023.
