Education

Ph. D.

Laxmi Rai obtained his Ph.D at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (India), working on histone H3 variants in the pathogenic yeast Candida albicans, with Prof. Kaustuv Sanyal. In 2017, Laxmi joined the Fungal Biology and Pathogenicity Unit at Institut Pasteur as a Post-doctoral Fellow working on C. albicans biofilm gene complexity using over-expression strategy with Porf. Christophe d'Enfert.
