Dr Maalyada is an Academician and Researcher of Performing Arts and Indology. She is a well known exponent of Kuchipudi and also a performer of repute. She has her Bachelors in Computer Science Engg., Masters in Kuchipudi and another Masters in English and a Ph. D in Dance. She has received many National and International Awards, Scholarships and Recognitions. She is also the Resource Person for the courses on Kuchipudi for the Swayam Prabha DTH Channel, Ministry of Education, Govt of India.
