Kasina Sandeep is an architect, educator, and design researcher with over a decade of experience. He graduated from VNIT, Nagpur (2011), and completed his post-graduation from IIT Roorkee (2023). He practised in reputed firms in Mumbai and New Delhi and taught in stand-alone architecture institutes across South India, including Ooty, Mysore, and Calicut. In 2025, he joined GITAM School of Architecture as an Associate Professor, undertaking various academic and administrative responsibilities.

Expertise

Architectural Pedagogy: Developing dynamic teaching strategies by playing a pivotal role in Foundation Studios, leading interdisciplinary workshops, and emphasising design processes through experimental academic design projects like The Soma Cube Project and 2+2=3 to foster creativity and critical thinking.
Educational Technology: Using instructional design, graphics, and digital tools to enhance teaching methods, clarify complex concepts, and encourage creative exploration.
Architecture & Mathematics: Utilise analytical, left-brain strategies to explore spatial configurations through analogue and digital design processes.
Traditional Knowledge Systems: Investigating Indigenous architectural and urban planning principles to bridge cultural heritage and contemporary design.
