I am Dr K V Santhee Devi, currently working as an Assistant Professor Department of Environmental Science; I completed MSc in Environmental Chemistry, MA Edn., and PhD from AU. I started my academic career in 1999; worked as a Jr. Chemist in the QC section in Dr. Reddy’s lab, Hyderabad, Chemist at Rudraram Research Institute of Life Sciences, Hyderabad, and settled in the teaching field in August 2003 in the Department of Chemistry, GITAM, I transferred to ES Department in July 2021.

  • Check Icon During my academic carrier, I actively engaged in teaching and research activities.
  • Check Icon One patent filed and was accepted in December 2020. i.e., “EFI – Low - Cost Indian Brick” is an environment-friendly very low - cost Indian brick and also the utilization of fly ash or coal combustion byproducts (Waste to wealth) to make bricks, blocks and other construction materials.
  • Check Icon I am well equipped to make valuable contributions to the Department of Environmental Sciences and continue in promoting the growth and development of students in the field of Environmental Sciences in covering the trust areas of the Department.
  • Check Icon My research area is Speciation studies i.e., A Study on Chemical Speciation of L-Dopa And 1, 10-Phenanthroline Complexes with some Essential Metal Ions in Aqua-Organic Mixtures.
