Dr Rao is one of the few eminent Indian researchers specialized in Aluminium metallurgy. Several Undergraduate students under his mentorship have been embarking into World's top Universities like University of Cambridge (U.K.); University California Berkeley (USA); NUS & NTU (Singapore). He has been serving as a subject expert for Czech Science Foundation and other international funding bodies since past 10 years.
