Expertise

  • Check Icon My expertise lies in the field of environmental science, with a focus on air quality monitoring, carbon sequestration, wastewater management, and disaster management. I have worked extensively on atmospheric aerosols (PM10 and PM2.5) and their impact on urban air quality, human health using advanced techniques. One of my key research areas is the study of carbon sequestration potential in tree species and the development of an air pollution tolerance index (APTI) for green belt development. In addition to my academic research, I have been deeply involved in consultancy work for industries and government bodies. This includes projects with organizations such as NTPC Simhadri and the Visakhapatnam Port Trust, where I have contributed to air quality monitoring, wastewater analysis, and noise pollution control. My practical knowledge of industrial safety and environmental regulations, combined with my academic background, allows me to provide holistic solutions to environmental challenges in both academic and industrial settings. I have also been an active participant in training programs and workshops related to disaster management, environmental awareness, and industrial safety. My work in these areas aims to enhance community resilience to environmental risks and disasters, particularly through the development of safe building codes and environmental rehabilitation strategies. My research interests continue to evolve, focusing on innovative solutions for sustainable development, waste management, and environmental conservation. I remain committed to pushing the boundaries of environmental science through my work, contributing to a more sustainable and resilient future. In addition, I have even been part of 9 Projects from various organizations and institutions.
