Dr. Sireesha V Garimella holds a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Life Sciences from University of Hyderabad with a gold medal, and a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Reproduction and Development from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Subsequently, she pursued post-doctoral research at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, and at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) under the aegis of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA in the field of Molecular Oncology.
