Sri. Srinivasa Rao Gandupalli is from Visakhapatnam. He completed his B.E. in Civil Engineering from the College of Engineering, Andhra University, M.Tech. in Transportation Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and is pursuing a Ph.D. from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. He joined GITAM as an Assistant Professor in 2015.
