Prabhakar Eeka is from Kothagudem in Telangana. Has a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Silver Jubilee Govt. Degree College, Kurnool, Masters in Biotechnology from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, UP. He has a Ph.D. in Animal Sciences (Life Sciences) from the University of Hyderabad. He was a DBT JRF fellow, UGC NET qualified, CSIR RA, IBRO-APRC travel grant awardee, and worked as a Scientist at the University of Iowa, USA. His research expertise is in malaria pathogenesis and cancer theranostics.
