My research is focused on the solvation sciences, investigating the crucial role of solvation structure and water dynamics around biomolecules. I completed my doctoral study at S.N.Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, India. Subsequently, I have completed five years of post-doctoral study at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, and The University of Texas at Austin, USA. Currently, I am working as Assistant Professor (MURTI Fellow) in the Department of Physics at GITAM, Bangalore.
