Madhavaprasad Dasari hails from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He earned his Ph.D. in experimental condensed matter physics from Andhra University. His research interests encompass functional ceramics, including dielectric, ferroelectric, piezoelectric, and multiferroic materials, as well as the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials and air pollution analysis, particularly air quality trends. He joined GITAM in July 2008 and has successfully completed a project funded by UGC-DAE with a grant
