Dr. Charvaak Pati holds a PhD from York University, Toronto. His academic career includes teaching positions at Zakir Husain College and Hindu College (both at the University of Delhi), and at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Patna. His research interests include space-society relations, labour studies, and social theory, with a particular focus on how political consciousness influences workers' collective action.
