Dr.Beena.S.Nair served as Vice-Chairperson, Dept. of English,Amrita University. Her teaching experience of 14.5 years , includes West -Asian exposure.She completed her PhD as UGC Junior & Senior Research Fellow , in the area of Ecology and Gender in American Fiction. She has served as BOS member and DC memberAmrita Uty &VIT Uty,Vellore. As Research Guide, two of her scholars were awarded PhD.Her research areas include Ecology,Gender,Space, Indic studies.
