Ankur is from Serampore, West Bengal, India. Presently, he is working as Assistant Professor at GITAM Hyderabad. He completed his PhD from IIT Ropar. Post which he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Applied Physics, Aalto University, Finland and in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Ankur has expertise in Heat and Mass transport, Multiphase systems, Complex fluids, Interfacial phenomena, Non-equilibrium processes , to name a few.
