Dr. Animesh Lahiri is from Kolkata, West Bengal. He has obtained his Ph. D degree from RKMV, Belur, West Bengal. He has 3 years of Post-doctoral experience in ISI, HRI and CMI. His area of research is Affine Algebraic Geometry and Commutative Algebra. He uses theory of locally nilpotent derivations and affine fibrations to solve problems related to polynomial algebras over commutative rings.
