The Topic of my Doctoral Research is “Total Mass Attenuation coefficient elements of Ga, As, Sr, Y of range 5keV to 20 KeV.” Subsequently, when I was given a teaching opportunity in MSc nuclear medicine at Andhra University, I developed an interest in taking up nuclear Medicine research and published a research article. Since then, I continued my focus on research in Nuclear Medicine. My efforts have been recognized, and I got a Major Research Project from UGC-N.

Research Publications
  • Determination of L X-ray satellite lines for Molybdenum (Mo) and Molybdenum trioxide (MoO3 ) by wavelength dispersion X-ray fluorescence WD-XRF To cite this article: P Sowjanya et al 2023 J. Phys.: Conf. Ser. 2426 01205
  • Legendre Wavelet Transform for the Study of Phase Transitions in Hydrogen‑Bonded Liquid Crystals
  • INFRARED REFRACTIVE INDICES OF HYDROGEN-BONDED LIQUID CRYSTALS FROM THE ENVELOPE METHOD Padmavathi Sariki1,, Vasundhara Balireddy1 , Sankara Rao Gowri B.2
  • Role of PET-CT (Positron Emission Tomography-Computed Tomography) in Cancer Evaluation and Treatment Balireddy Vasundhara1*, Pottumuthu Hemalatha1,2, Pakalapati Satya Sarath Kumar Raju
  • STRUCTURAL, OPTICAL, AND PHOTOLUMINESCENCE STUDIES OF ZnO DISPERSED p(-n-DECYLOXY) BENZOIC ACID LIQUID CRYSTALLINE COMPOUND
Expertise
  • Nuclear physics and nuclear medecin related research I am expert of how calculate radiation dose in cancer treatment
  • .” Last two years back, I applied for one more resear project entitled ‘’Using SSNTD Radon Measurements in Industrial Areas” which is currently under review by the Dept. of Science and Technology.
  • Radiation Interactions, PET tracers of Diagnosis, and Therapeutic Procedures in Cancer Treatment ,using PET tracers
  • Future purposes of PET are probable to come from tracers different from FDG. Non-oncology functions are additionally emerging, specifically in the discipline of dementia, motion problems, and infection detection, in addition to the use of PET and SPECT Radionuclides for diagnostic imaging studies. Radionuclides used in nuclear medication are short-lived PET PET-product FDG in cardiology.
  • My scholar and myself invented new technology .  Earlier methods for the treatment of thyroid cancer used to cause higher radiation exposure in the treatment of thyroid cancer. The new method—GAVA Technique—proposed can be considered as a superior method in the place of existing methods in practice.
