Dr. Shubhadip Chakraborty, from Kolkata, West Bengal, earned his B.Sc. in Chemistry honours in 2006 and M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry in 2009. He completed his PhD at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in 2016. Post-PhD, he conducted research at the IRAP, Toulouse (2016-2019), and at the Institut de Physique, Université de Rennes (2019-2022). Since September 2022, he has been an assistant professor at GITAM University, Bengaluru, and became Head of the Chemistry Department in May 2024.
