Prof. Jagattaran Das is an accomplished medicinal chemist with 25+ years of experience in academia and industry. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, followed by postdoctoral training in France, Germany, and Japan. He spent nearly 20 years in the areas of drug discovery before transitioning to academia. His expertise lies in synthesizing small molecule NCEs, focusing on the treatment of infectious diseases and metabolic as well as CNS disorders.
