Kamaiah Bandi has a Ph.D. in Macro-Monetary Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He is an Emeritus Professor, School of Economics and School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad. He has served as the Founder Dean in Charge, Andhra Pradesh Central University and as a Professor and Dean, School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, SRM University, as well as Dean, School of Economics, University of Hyderabad. In addition, Professor Kamaiah has served on the Board of Directors, Management Development Institute and the Board of Directors, Mazagaon Dock Shipbuilders Limited. He is an Honorary Professor, Department of Economics, MANUU, and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board, Journal of Quantitative Economics, Springer and Macroeconomics and Finance in Emerging Market Economies, Taylor and Francis.
