Sridhar holds a doctoral degree from the University of Hyderabad and before joining Gitam, he has taught at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Tuljapur campus from 2013 to 2023. He was a visiting fellow in Contemporary History and Politics at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Humanities, University of Edinburgh, UK. He has conducted independent studies at Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar; Council for Social Development; CESS etc.
