Avinash has a PhD in Sociology from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (2020). Earlier, He taught at the Department of Contemporary and Tribal Customary Law, Central University of Jharkhand. He has communicated his research through Sociological Bulletin, invited talks at TISS-Hyderabad, and conference presentations at SOAS-University of London, Association for Asian Studies (AAS), United States, BRICS Initiative for Critical Agrarian Studies (BICAS), Brazil.
