Curriculum design of all programmes is aligned with the institutional goals and objectives. The University has a well-defined mechanism for formulation and up-gradation of curriculum. Each department has a board of studies which consists of senior faculty from premier educational institutions such as IITs, IIMs, Central Universities, etc., and executives from industry.
Employability is a major consideration in the design and development of the curriculum. All the programmes offered by the University are application oriented and are specially designed to meet the need for trained personnel in different sectors of the economy that bear a direct relationship to economic growth and development of the nation.
The University has developed a well-defined mechanism for formulation and up-gradation of curriculum. The University interacts with stakeholders and takes periodical feedback from time to time. Consultations are made with experts from industry in curriculum development process to cater to the ever changing requirements of the industry and the aspirations of the student community. The syllabi of various subjects are updated from time to time taking into account the latest developments and emerging trends and needs. The University has introduced Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) in all the programmes in accordance with the UGC guidelines.
